As B.C.'s Attorney General, he championed numerous reforms: from removing big money in politics to taking a stand against money laundering and opioid manufacturers, and achieving lower car insurance rates. Moreover, as housing minister, David oversaw the construction of thousands of homes and rehoused numerous individuals experiencing homelessness. Before politics, David was a renowned lawyer and legal scholar, with beginnings in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, advocating for low-income residents. He also served as the executive director of the B.C. Civil Liberties Association from 2009 to 2013. Grounded in his values and family-oriented, David cherishes time with his children, Ezra and Iva, and his wife Cailey.
